PAVILLON JULIA

This guest house is situated in the garden of the main villa in the Palmeraie of Marrakech. The living space can be used as a private suite or transformed in 2 bedrooms suites. Built with the adobe technique (raw Earth bricks) for the walls, the ceiling in plain wood is the typology used in the Berber countryside. The internal walls finishings are also made by an ancient technique which mixes dirt with plaster that gives a unique rendering. The concrete floor without seal is a reminder of the ancestral dess (lime’s slab). The chimney is carved with an ornate Islamic pattern that grants a fancy Moroccan touch.
